Exambiz provides invigilation (Exam supervision) to students from Open Universities and other education institutions. More than 25,000 students study through Open Universities Australia at a time.

Prior to the new system, Exambiz’s clients went to their old website, downloaded a form, printed it, posted it in with a cheque or money order. Exambiz would then manually record the details of the student, manually process the payment (including dealing with bounced cheques), manually notify universities and maintain information for the various state invigilators.

The new website built by Butterfly Internet allows students to go online, find their subjects, book into exams and pay online immediately with their credit card. Universities are automatically notified via email and can export information straight into excel. Custom reports are generated for Exambiz, universities and invigilators to track attendees, exams and other items.

It has saved hours of labour per day in processing and is easier and more efficient for students, Exambiz, universities and invigilators.

In addition, the new site look has been taken across the board with new business cards and other materials.
