Working with pages on your site

Showing and hiding pages - Publishing and Un-Publishing

You might like pages to not be visible to the public, such as when you are first creating it, or for seasonal information (eg Christmas Specials).

Note: you can also un-publish a menu item so that it doesn’t show online. However, this will still leave the page online, just harder to reach. (More information...)

To un-publish a page that is either a content item or static content item:

1. Log in to the site
2. Find the page (More information...)
3. Click on the icon under the Published column header
4. If it shows with a red cross, the page is unpublished, a green tick means that it is published
5. To publish the page, press on the icon again, and it will publish the page
