Working with pages on your site

Tip: if the page is similar to an existing page, copy that page and then edit it to save time.

1. Log in to your website
2. Go to the Content Menu, and click on "Article Manager" (Joomla 1.5) or "All content items" (Joomla 1.0)
3. Click on "New"
4. Give the page a title (and make the Title Alias the same thing)
5. Choose the section and category that you'd like the page stored in from the appropriate drop down menus (Click here for help to create a new section and / or a new category)
6. Edit the page with the text editor. (More information about using the text editor)
7. If you are making a lot of changes, press "Apply" to save the page and come back to it regularly
8. When you are finished editing you can click on "Save" to save the page and go back to the previous menu
9. Put the page into a menu (Click here for help on menus)
10. Open another browser and go to the page, check that it looks good before finishing (Click here for help on editing the page)
