  1. Navigate your internet explorer to: https://awr1.alpha.aussiehq.net.au:8443
  2. Enter in your details as given to you by Butterfly Internet.
  3. Push enter
  4. After logging in, you will be given the “My Desktop” page. On the left there is a menu, click on “Home”. All instructions begin from this point on.
  1. Click on “Mail” and then click on “Add New Mail Name”
  2. Enter in the new mail name (email address). Then enter in the password and confirm it. Leave all other settings as default.
  3. Then click on “Ok”
  1. To reset an email account password, click on “Mail”.
  2. Search through the list for the email address that is to be altered.
  3. Once you have found it, click on the address.
  4. You will be given a window that shows a summary of the settings for the email address. Then click on “Preferences”
  5. Here, you are then able to enter in a new password and confirm it. Once you have entered in the new password, click on “Ok”.
  1. Click on “Mail”.
  2. Then search through the list until you find the email account that you wish to apply the redirect to. Click on the email address.
  3. You will then be shown a summary of the settings for the email address. To configure a redirect, click on “Redirect”.
  4. Tick the checkbox that is next to the heading “Redirect” and then enter in the address that you wish all mail to be redirected to and click on “Ok”.
  1. Click on “Mail”.
  2. Search through the list for the email address that is to have the autoresponder.
  3. Once you have found it, click on the email address.
  4. You will then be shown a summary of the settings for the selected email address. To configure an autoresponder, click on “Autoresponders”.
  5. Then click on “Add New Autoresponder”
  6. Enter in the details according to the descriptions given below:
    1. Autoresonder Name – the name of the autoresponder, use something descriptive such as “Annual Leave responder”.
    2. Request text – You can configure the autoresponder to only respond to email that satisfy a certain query. For example only emails that have “cake” in the subject.
    3. Answer with subject – By default this will return the email with “Re: <subject>”. So if the sender sent an email with the subject of “Office meeting” the autoresponder would return with the subject of “Re: Office meeting”.
    4. Return address – this is the email address that replies will be sent to. So if a user doesn’t realize that the email they just received was an automated response, this is the address that their reply will go to. Generally the best practice is to enter your own email address in.
    5. Reply with text – This is the text that will be in the autoresponded email.
    6. Send as HTML – If you tick this check box, you may include some HTML formatting in the reply with text section.
    7. Reply to the unique e-mail address not more than – this is the amount of times that the autoresponder will reply to the same email address.
    8. Store up to – The number of email addresses that the autoresponder will store so that it can remember them and how many times that they have sent an email to the address.
    9. Forward request to email – if you enter an email address here, all emails that are autoresponded to will then be forwarded to the entered email address.
    10. Add new attachment – you can attach file to the autoresponded email. This is generally not a good idea though.
  7. Once you are happy with all the settings, click on “Ok”.
  1. Click on “Mail”
  2. Search through the list, and find the email address that has the autoresponder that you wish to remove.
  3. Once you have found it, click on the email address, then click on “Autoresponders”
  4. You will be given a list of autoresponders that are attributed to the selected email address.
  5. To remove one, tick the checkbox and click on “Remove Selected”.
  6. Confirm that you wish to remove the autoresponder and then click on “Ok”.
  7. Rather than completely removing the autoresponder, you can also just turn it off. To do so, tick the check box next to the desired autoresponder and click on “Switch Off”.
  8. This means that autoresponder is no longer active however, is still on the system if you wish to use it again.
  1. Then click on “Report”.
  2. You will then be shown a summary report of your website.
