Microsoft Outlook Other Versions

To set up your email address to work in Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Tools > Email Accounts
  2. Add a new email account
  3. POP3

User Information

  • Your name as you’d like it to be seen by others eg “John Anderton”
  • Insert your full email address

Server Information

  • Incoming mail server as emailed to you (it is "mail" in place of the "www" in your website address, for example "mail.butterflyinternet.com.au")
  • Outgoing mail server as per your internet service provider, eg mail.bigpond.net.au (Help to identify your outgoing mail server)

Log On Information

  • User name is your entire email address
  • Password as supplied to you
  • Tick "Remember password" (unless other people use this computer)

Press “Test Account Settings”". If all the arrows are green then you are finished. If there is a red cross check that all of the settings match the above and what was supplied to you.

Press “Next” to finish
