Microsoft Entourage

To set up email addresses in Microsoft Entourage:

  1. Tools > Accounts
  2. New (press down arrow and choose mail)
    • Note: the first account on a computer gets a different sequence of questions - if so please choose to configure the account manually
  3. Account type: POP and OK
  4. Give it an account name eg This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Personal information

  1. Name: the name you want people to see as the person who sent the emails
  2. Email address: The email address you are setting up

Receiving Mail

  1. Account ID: The email address you are setting up (as supplied to you)
  2. Pop Server: your incoming mail server above (eg mail.abc.com.au)
  3. Password: the password for the email address (listed above)

Sending Mail

  1. The outgoing mail server from your internet service provider, eg mail.bigpond.com (Help to identify your outgoing mail server)
  2. If you are not sure contact your Internet Service Provider – the company that connects you to the internet
