JEvents
- Log into the Administrator section of your website
- In the components menu choose JEvents
- On the JEvents control panel, click on “Manage Events”
- Click on “New” in the top right corner.
- Fill out the necessary information on the “Common” tab and then click on the “Calendar” tab.
- Enter the dates and times of the event.
- Then click “Save” in the top right.
- On the JEvents control panel, click on “Manage Events”
- Scroll through the list or use the search to locate the desired event. Click on the event’s summary.
- Amend the information as desired on both the “Common” and “Calendar” tabs.
- Once finished, click “Save” in the top right.
- One the JEvents control panel, click on “Manage Events”
- Scroll through the list or use the search to find the event that is to be deleted.
- When you have found the event, tick the check box for the event
- Click “Delete” in the top right.
- The event should then be removed from the list of events.
- Log into the JEvents control panel and then click on “Manage Events”
- Search through the list for the event that is to be altered.
- Click on the event’s summary.
- On the “Common” tab. There is an “Access level” drop down menu. Click on it and find the correct permission that you wish to apply to the event.
- Click on “Save” in the top right.
- On the JEvents control panel, click on “Manage Calendars”
- You will see a list of calendars that are currently operating on your site.
- To add a new one, click on “New” in the top right.
- Enter the name and category for the new calendar.
- When you’re happy with the name, category and access level for the calendar click on the “Create Calendar from scratch” button.
- On the JEvents control panel, click on “Manage Calendars”
- Find the calendar that you wish to alter and click on its name
- Enter the new details about the calendar
- Click “Save” in the top right.
- On the JEvents control panel, click on “Manage Calendars”
- Find the calendar you wish to remove and tick the check box next to it.
- Click on “Delete” in the top right
- The calendar should then be removed
